Tone Matrix
Tone matrix is an application on a website that allows that allows access to everyone. Tone matrix is a pentatonic step sequenzer. It is very easy for anybody to use even if they do not have a musical background. In order to produce sound, all that is needed is for the person to click onto the squares and make a pattern. The higher the square picked, the higher the pitch will be and the rythm will depend on the way the sques are positioned. I believe this application has come from someone who has wanted music to be created in a creative way by anybody. No matter how little musical background someone might have they will still be able to create music with this application.
Audio tool
Audio tool can be found on the same website as Tone Matrix. Audio tool is an extension of tone matrix. To create a piece of music with audio tool, you need to create a penatonic piece first with tone matrix . From the tone matrix you can add drums to the sound by using Audio tool. I find Audio tool difficult to use because it includes what is found in a music production studio on the computer screen. In order to use this tool, knowledge about how to use the equiptment is needed. I found this difficult so i just added the drums that were already provided to my pentatonic piece. I believe audio tool is an extension for people who have more of a musical knowledge for studio equiptment. This makes the website a great tool for students at all different levels.
